1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
1. At 16 I am positive that I am a “mutation.” J Lynch Syndrome is a genetic disorder that increases a person’s chances of aggressive hereditary cancers. As a carrier, I am a national spokesperson for Lynch Syndrome International. It is my responsibility to educate and to share my story. It is surreal to see people’s reactions and know that I could lead them to learn about their family history or even educate their doctors.

2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
2. As a junior, I know that it is important to work hard now in order to achieve my goals for the future. I feel that God is calling me to go into Clinical Psychology with a focus on Family Counseling. The college courses that I am taking now help me to receive my PhD even sooner. It would bring me such joy to know that I was able to impact a family for the better.

3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
3. My first memory of volunteering was when I was 4 years old. My mom was a police officer and I was working with her to raise money for the Special Olympics. J Since then, I have volunteered for all sorts of different causes. From building sheds and decks for the Rosebud Indian Reservation homes to raising money for Childhood Cancer Research, I know it is the most humbling and fulfilling thing imaginable!

4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
4. I love Volleyball! Not only is it fun, but it has also taught me leadership and perseverance. I know that in order to be the best that I can be, as a 5’3” setter, there is no “off season!” Because of my dedication, I was honored to be named Varsity Captain. God continued to surprise me by allowing me to be named onto the 2nd Team All-State and the Conference Christian Character Team.

5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
5. The most important thing to know about me is that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. All of the hard work that I do and all of the recognition that I receive goes to glorify Him. My purpose in life is to conduct myself in a way that allows people to experience His love through me. A motto that I live by is, “ Remember who you are and Who’s you are.”
